I was just curious why the animals now in the care of Buddy for Life will be euthanized if they aren't adopted by June 30th. Why can't they be transferred to the new facility? Aren't they still technically under the care and ownership of the County until and through that time period? Are the trucks that were bought by the County going to be junked, too? When I worked at the horse sales, we continued to take care of the horses until the new owners picked them up.Please help me understand this situation. Thanks!
