I see this whole thing as another means of Moore avoiding to make the big decisions that she is being paid to do. Removing Rozanski was the right decision and there are others that she needs to make especially if the ethics commission is on the up and up and she is concerned about checks and balances and improprieties.

Let's stop playing around the bush. If truly she is concerned about commission members loyalties, then she should have started with the Animal Control Commission which is riddled with close friends of Buddy's for Life and Cartletti. You talk about conflicts of interests, there are many...

Ms. Moore if you want to do what is right for the commissions, then do it across the board and do it right. You have had multiple incidents that clearly point to Buddy's for Life, Inc. aka Animal Control being in breach of their contract. Complaining to the Animal Control Commission will be like complaining to Carletti, Callahan or Hawkins. That a cop out for the county government. This is not payback time, this is clean up your act time for the benefit of the taxpayers.

I don't diagree with placing in the county code justifications for removing members of committees and boards.

Beyond what is in this post, both Mr. Rozanski and Mrs. Falcioni have attended meetings of the board of commissioners/council. I publicly questioned that since they need to maintain as unbiased an appearance as possible even though it is not against the ethics panel's rules. Recently I have seen Mrs. Falcioni at council meetings.

Mr. Rozanski did not lose his 1st Amendment rights when he joined the ethics panel, but he made his choice on where he stood on whether to express publicly his bias and for that he deserved to lose his position. Had I been on the ethics panel and publicly attacked a council person I would expect to be removed from the panel as well. I have never volunteered for a position on a county committee because I believe I would have to self impose restrictions on my freedom to speak publicly on issues; I am not willing to do that.
