I’m curious to why a Sheriff would endorse a candidate for Sheriff by placing his name on the candidate’s sign?

He, Sheriff Janney, idicated that he would stand as a buffer between state and federal interference of our rights. Further, he indicated that he would not enforce laws that ran counter to our constitutional rights.

Janney took an oath to uphold the constitution. I don’t understand why he can’t even answer a simple question as to whether he would protect the citizens of Cecil County against legislation that takes this 2nd Amendment right away. I traveled with Chris Sutton to Annapolis a couple weeks ago to support our Amendment rights so I know where he stands. If Janney can’t live by his word, I think he should step down from his elected position.
