Col. John C. Becking, “commander of the Philadelphia region of the Corps”, (nice title) THAT OVERSEES THE DREDGING AND DUMPING SITE lives. Does he have a summer house at Bayview estates, or West View Shores? Probably not. This man should not even have a job, let alone his hand out, being padded with money to ignore this problem.

Yet he and the government officials want to “move ahead and REOPEN this disposal site”. The audacity of this government of ours to ignore this dump site, and then to resume the dumping? Really? It would be a shame if any of THEIR family members or THEMSELVES were stricken with some type of cancer or debilitating disease. The cost of transporting this hazardous material should not even come in to play here. All the money this government wastes, trillions of dollars per year, and to try and cut corners on peoples lives is disgusting. To all the individuals that have had knowledge of this for years and years, you are a disgrace. This is not the end, you will hear from me again.

For years, it was obviously discolored and had a taste of metal. What long terms effects come with this pollution?
