CCPS hides the fact that they give every unit member/teacher/coach a pay raise called a step increase every year. They may have to throw a few non union employees under the short bus, but the unit member/teachers get their annual raises, kids and taxpayers get the shaft.

CCPS doesn’t suffer from not enough money. Their problem is that they are incompetent with all the funds they get,and still want MORE!

There is nothing more transparent than the “product” CCPS “produces”. You say,”They are 6th of 24 in the state for return on dollars spent.” Just look at Ms. Devine, Elkton High graduate, ex-teacher union president and apologist for a failed educational system who begs us to give the system MORE taxpayer money. What’s the return on dollars spent on building a new school? Ask the companies that renovated EHS. I’m sure they’re attending those meetings you go to.

Perhaps you should be forced to attend a CCPS classroom for a year like the kids. You will have all the “facts” you need to understand that those who suggest all we need to do is spend more money and raise more taxes for CCPS are the rats Wingo.
