Don’t these folks, and I do mean all of them, communicate with the towns during emergency situations?

Word had been out that the Halloween would be changed to Friday because of the Hurricane Sandy barrelling down on us throughout the weekend. Then the Whig puts out the notice from the news from the towns, which I think is what we expect from them. Low and behold the Commissioners think they are the plantation owners and decide that the County will not go along with this and have Halloween for Wednesday and we have to be aware that children will come to our door on Wednesday and Friday?

I really wish that we could just let this board of Commissioners loose and not hire any current or former County employee to the County Executive position. We need a top notch CEO type administrator to bring this County together and on the same page and this group just isn’t getting it done. Thank God we didn’t really get hit harder from this storm.
