She wasn’t going to vote for the new laws but figured she could garner a few votes from the animal rights crowd and told them she was only worried about the cost. I don’t even work for the county and I can tell you the cost from the response by the SPCA to the county’s proposal.

Maybe Tari needs to learn to surf the county website. The SPCA told them the 8 day hold was going to cost them more money and that enforcing all the new laws was, too. They even broke it down to the cost per citizen and gave a comparison of other surrounding counties. The number was over $800,000–if this law got through…

I think they have done enough damage in their vendetta to satisfy Smeigel’s witch hunt against the SPCA.
I’m glad to see that someone else has noticed Carletti’s cut and paste job on animal control. I think maybe she should get the bill for creating this fiasco!!!

Carletti and her henchmen were just doing the job that Michael Smiegel wanted them to do. This group is definitely not doing this on their own since none of them are too bright. Carletti is just a puppet and please don’t give her credit for writing 209. This was a cut and paste job from other states, mostly Pa. but in Pa. the state pays most of the costs not the county. Tari Moore should really research who she is associating with. November is coming very soon.
