Alan McCarthy epitimizes everything that I would look for as a County Commissioner. He is an intelligent, upstanding citizen of the community. The election of Alan McCarthy would be a breath of fresh air in starting to put an end to the cronyism that has polluted this county since the election of Broomell and Dunn.

Mullin has been an abysmal failure since becoming president of the County Commission. Many times it would have appeared that he took his marching orders from the likes of Broomell, Smigel and Pipkin instead of listening to the requests of the people that he is supposed to represent. Mullin, Broomell and Dunn have forgotten that they are public servants and instead have chosen a path that would have them look more like despots. Good luck to Alan McCarthy. Cecil County deserves him.
