Good, no more delays.

Why any commissioner wants a delay when this has been studied to death since 2005 is beyond me. During the open commissioner working sessions, I don't remember a discussion of the need for a further delay and why it is required. The PSC originally approved the sale and then the lawsuit and the subsequent delays placed our county's growth further behind than necessary.

Isn't 6 years enough time for all to have figured out a public position and presented it? The original decision to sell the system was, in large part, based on the lack of county resources. From the recent budget debates it is clear that the county still lacks the ability to finance the system expansion needed for economic growth.

Full disclosure: I wrote to the Court of Appeals and the PSC to end the delays for the good of Cecil County citizens. Our infrastructure was not being improved/expanded during the suit's duration since neither the county nor Artesian could make any investments until the case was settled.
