As I recall, Delegate Smigiel, Senator Pipkin, and their minions screamed against the prior Board of Commissioners for hiring a law firm to help them in defending against the SMIPKIN tax cap and binding arbitration legislation they introduced. As I recall, the cost was $6,000 for both pieces of legislation.

Now come the 3 Amigos awarding a no-bid, open-ended agreement to pay Smigiel pal Irwin Kramer $300 per hour to “advise” them on the Artesian contract which has already been approved by the Court of Appeals and the PSC and which Artesian has stated will not be re-negotiated. Where is the outrage from SMIPKIN and the “Fiscal Conservative Team?”
