		<description><![CDATA[Sheriff&#039;s Deputies take home vehicles provide a presence in the communities that would otherwise not be there.  The Sheriff is indeed an elected official and if the Commissioners are  unwilling to provide the necessary funds for County protection, then the Commissioners are the ones that need to suffer the consequences. 

 It appears to me that the County Commissioners spend so much time on needless ordinances and appointing their buddies when instead they should be focusing on the changes needed to make the upcoming charter government state of the art.  The county commissioners have way too much time on their hands and maybe we, as constituents, should be asking them to account for their time.]]></description>
