Besides from creating jobs, and local revenue? Bottom line is the impact grants are just that, grants– free for alls to whomever has their hands open. A significant portion should go to those who have gambling problems. But then again, anyone who knowingly goes into an establishment that takes in more than they pay out…

The more appropriate question here is what local impact does the Casino have on pregnancy or the Cecil County Pregnancy Center?

But they DON’T have the right to use county tax revenues to finance their proselytizing. We can only hope that the County Commissioners have read enough of the First Amendment to recognize the impropriety of honoring the Pregnancy Center’s request for funding.
