Only this news website reported on the court dismissal. Only after the Cecil Times did this story did the Cecil Whig, several days later, admit that Deputy Passwaters had been cleared in the courts. As a family member of another deputy, not Passwaters, I am glad that someone had the guts to tell the county that these false charges were thrown out of the court.
