We are blushing, Crazy History Teacher, at your kind remarks. But we are very committed to providing a voice to southern Cecil County on this Cecil Times blog. This community has many issues-- from public safety to basic food/market services-- that the Whig and Elkton folks simply do not understand. Personally, I am tired of people living within a 5 mile radius of a supermarket in Elkton looking down their noses at us poor southern county folks who have to drive 45 miles round trip to put some basic food into our frig!

Its nice that we have a blog that pays attention to us folks in the southern end of the county. We're always neglected by the Elktonians. They probably don't even know Chesapeake City and Cecilton exist!

Keep up the good work Cecil Times! I really like your blog!
